Terms of Use
These Terms govern access to and use of the Raw By Design app. By creating an account or using the service, the user agrees to these Terms and the Privacy notice. If the user does not agree, the service should not be used.
1. Eligibility and Account
Users must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering this agreement. Account information must be accurate and kept current. Credentials must be protected, accounts must not be shared, and suspected unauthorised access should be reported promptly.
2. Service Description and Boundary
RBD is a decision-support product. It analyses user-provided and permitted data to identify possible current constraints and suggest proportionate actions. "Debt" and "diagnosis" are non-clinical product terms. Outputs are estimates, not guarantees.
RBD does not provide medical, psychological, nutritional, legal, financial or other regulated professional advice. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider or emergency service. Users should seek qualified advice for persistent, severe or unexplained symptoms, injury, illness, disordered eating, mental-health crisis or any matter beyond safe self-management. Urgent care must not be delayed because of an RBD output.
3. User Responsibilities
Users remain responsible for judgement and action. They must consider personal limitations, environment, professional advice and safety warnings; keep relevant information current; and avoid any action that is unsafe or unsuitable. To the extent permitted by law, RBD is not responsible for outcomes caused by inaccurate, outdated or withheld information or by use contrary to these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
The service may be used only for lawful, personal purposes. Users must not: gain or attempt unauthorised access; introduce malicious code; interfere with availability or security; impersonate another person; scrape, resell or commercially exploit the service; reverse engineer or extract protected logic except where law expressly permits; upload unlawful or infringing material; probe security without written authorisation; or use RBD to make employment, credit, insurance, healthcare or other high-stakes decisions about another person.
5. Availability and Changes
RBD may update features, correct errors, change compatibility requirements or suspend access for maintenance, security or legal reasons. Continuous, error-free or permanent availability is not guaranteed. Where reasonable, material service changes will be communicated. Continued use may require the latest supported app version.
6. Third-Party Services
Connected wearables, calendars, app stores and other integrations are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. RBD does not control their availability, accuracy or security. Disconnecting an integration may reduce available evidence but should not create a false favourable inference.
7. User Information and Intellectual Property
Users retain their rights in information they submit. They grant RBD a limited right to process that information only as necessary to operate, secure and improve the service in accordance with the Privacy notice.
The RBD software, branding, methodology, taxonomy, interface, content and documentation are owned by RBD or its licensors. Users receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use. No other rights are granted.
8. Paid Services
If paid features are introduced, price, billing interval, renewal, trial, cancellation and refund terms will be shown before purchase and will supplement these Terms. App-store rules may also apply. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Suspension, Deletion and Termination
Users may stop using RBD and request account deletion. RBD may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for breach, abuse, security, legal compliance or protection of other users. Where reasonable and lawful, notice and an opportunity to remedy will be provided. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose earlier, and provisions intended to survive will remain effective.
10. Liability and Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any mandatory statutory consumer right.
RBD is responsible for foreseeable loss caused by its breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, RBD is not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, business loss arising from consumer use, failure of third-party services, or loss caused by misuse, ignored warnings, inaccurate inputs or events outside reasonable control.
Users should maintain appropriate copies of information they need. RBD should not be treated as the sole record for health, employment, legal, financial or other high-stakes matters.
11. Changes to these Terms
Updated Terms will state their effective date. Material changes will be presented with reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date indicates acceptance, except where law requires a separate affirmative agreement.
12. Governing Law and General Terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protection or right to bring proceedings available in the user's home jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right.
